Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — Kardinal has issued an official statement following a recent drug enforcement operation by Selangor police, where vape products from multiple brands were displayed during a press conference, including packaging resembling Kardinal Stick Quik 5000.
Production of the Kardinal Stick Quik 5000 officially ended between December 2023 and January 2024. While a limited number of authentic units may still be in circulation through verified retail channels, Kardinal has not manufactured or distributed new inventory of this model since the start of the year. The packaging shown in the footage is not part of Kardinal's current production, and based on available information, appears to be unauthorized and counterfeit.
Kardinal strongly condemns the use of any narcotic substances in vape products. The misuse of vaping devices to distribute ilicit drugs represents a dangerous and illegal act that threatens public health and consumer safety. Kardinal does not tolerate the abuse of its brand identity in connection with such practices.

While Kardinal cannot verify the authenticity of other brands shown during the seizure, it can confirm that the Kardinal-branded items displayed were not produced or distributed by the company and are not genuine Kardinal products.
Kardinal mantains strict quality controls across its production and distribution ecosystem. A newly developed verification system is now available to help consumers identify authentic Kardinal devices. All genuine products can be verified at www.kardinal.cn using their unique serial ID.
Kardinal supports the efforts of Malaysian authorities to dismantle illegal distribution networks and remains actively engaged with enforcement agencies to assist where appropriate.
In response to this incident, Kardinal is increasing awareness among customers and partners on how to identify counterfeit devices and report unauthorized sellers.
